2. When the girls met Rod...

It's amazing who you bump into when you nip down to the local... and it was right after Yve and Jayne and lots of other dedicated athletes had run their exhausting Race For Life fundraiser.

The girls got their reward by meeting their hero, Rod Stewart, and having a picture together... great for members of Rod's biggest fan clubs SMILER and RSC (Rod Stewart Chronicle)..see links

Young Liz, who has been to some of the great Meze Taverna nights in Potters Bar, certainly caught the spirit of the moment by declaring "That bloke looks like Bob...".

Yve and Sue haven't come down from the ceiling yet.

3. Hazel on the ball...

Lifelong Rod Stewart fan, Hazel Hutton from Perth, met up with Bob at Rod's recent show in the SECC Glasgow.  Rod managed a great pass to Hazel in the front row and she hung on brilliantly to win a coveted signed football... a great extra prize on a brilliant night out for Hazel.

She is hoping to meet up with Albert Williamson and the squad for the next Rod Stewart Tribute night at Rosyth... already sold out but we're working on it.. after all, Hazel let Bob touch the ball.

4. THE NEW JACKET

Rod appeared in Dubai on 7th May 2010 with his new Amber jacket made from raw silk.  It was the first show on his 2010 tour.

The pictures looked great, so an order was duly placed with my tailor in the Far East and the new Amber Raw Silk jacket arrived in time for my June shows... what a glow... and it went down well on those first shows, so I think we have a hit jacket for this year.

Working on the next one now... considered copying Rod's purple suit, and that's a possibility, but let's see what else Rod comes up with on the next few dates.

I finally got to see Rod live for the first time at the SECC in Glasgow...  I've always been working the same nights Rod was playing, but this time I blocked out the Monday to catch him... see the review on Rod's page.

5. SOULBOOK ...the landmark album from Rod Stewart

7. When Rod Stewart met Johnny Cash

It's even more amazing who you bump into when you go for a haircut... JOHNNY CASH also known as Ric Herrington- tribute artist.  My sister Debi looks after my hair on a regular basis, so it was fitting that I should introduce Ric to the girls there as he lives in Irvine, not far from the shop on the High Street.  Salon owner Karen was only too pleased to give him the once over and Ric posed for photos with the girls as well... nice one Johnny.

So now you know where to go for stylish hairdressing like the stars... well tribute stars at least... KAZMARK at 178 High Street in Irvine.

8. ... and then...   Bob met RHODDY STEWART

Unbelievable... but very true.   On a recent trip to see a Neil Diamond Tribute by friend Pat Cairns, Bob met a photographer from Xpressphoto, a professional events photo company from Falkirk area.

After a chat and having a publicity photo taken, Bob discovered that the photographer's name was...  RHODDY STEWART.  What are the chances of that happening....

Speak to Rhoddy on 01324 719793 and find out when he is available for portraits... usually at Seamill Hydro or Dunblane Hydro events.
