Bob Wyper started out in the music business in 1972, just about the time Rod Stewart was becoming one of the biggest stars in the world of rock and pop.

Bob's vocal range and natural resemblance to Rod make it easy to see why he chose this new music project, and Bob has followed Rod's career since the Long John Baldry days.

We've seen all the weird and wonderful names that tribute acts can dream up, some more original and more palatable than others, but it would have been disrespectful to use a sideshow name for such a headline artiste as Rod Stewart, so Bob decided to tell it like it is...  it's a tribute to Rod Stewart...   and it's performed by Bob Wyper....   doesn't get much simpler than that....   Oh, the album cover above is just a bit of fun with Photoshop.

 Bob has been around the music scene since 1972, meeting and working with all types of musicians...  some famous, some who should be famous one day.   All valued for their input to his musical education.

The name-dropping section has been, eh, dropped.  After all, Midge Ure doesn't mention  Bob once on his site.
